A Lemming to Consumer Society

Well, I regret to say, that this morning, I joined many lemmings in my quest for consumerism. With gas prices on the rise, and my thurst for electronics, I joined probably more than 1,000 other avid consumers outside Fry's Electronics this morning at 4:00am! I was flabergasted!

My friend showed up at 3:20am, and quickly jumped in line. When I got there at 3:30am, the line was around the front of the building and almost all the way back down to the back of the humungous building! I could not believe how many people where there.


Here is a photo of Gary and I that I took with my phone. If you look closely, you can see the lines of people behind us.

I did manage to score a new Plantronics Blue Tooth Headset for $9.99, and a Kingston 1GB SD Card for $39.99.... so I walked away pretty happy with my savings...

Now if only I could find me an XBOX 360, I'd be happy ...
