It's on! It's on like Donkey Kong!

Well, snowboarding season is upon us. I went out for the first time over the weekend expecting my skills to be very rusty. I ended up going to Mount Seymour in Vancouver, BC. Checking the snow conditions before I left led me to believe the base was as big as Whistler's! Now if you think that's un-heard of, then check this. They even had 2-3 inches of fresh powder, and Whistler had none! Incredible!

So naturally, I was drawn to the snow. I managed to drag two of my Vancouverite friends along with me. Even tho they claimed there were not experienced skiers, they did quite well (except for the step and narrow :) ).

So my first run was naturally a green, I like to see if I remember my skills well enough to make it down. Near the bottom of this run, I found I was jumping and having a blast. I was back!

Next it was the tree's. On another run I decided to thunder through some small trees. Ahh, the fresh pow-pow underneith the board feels good again. Even the sun came out to play for most of the day.

I hope to go again this weekend.
