Last Tuesday I did my normal morning routine. I walk into the garage, open the trunk, drop my stuff in, hop in the car and drive to work.
The routine was broken when I attempted to open the trunk in the parking garage at work. The lights flash, the mechanical lock sound happens, no click. Where is the click! I need a click! Let me into my Trunk!!!!
Oh the joys of climbing into your trunk through your backseat to get your laptop which you so conveniently left right at the furthest part of the trunk. Now that's security at it's best!
I took the car in, it's a warranty fix, so it doesn't concern me too much, but it's getting very frustrating putting things into the trunk (so they aren't visible in the car) via the back seats, and heaven forbid you round a courner too fast and slide that stuff to the back of the trunk.
One thing I found impressive was the safety hatch on the inside of the trunk still worked. That's pretty cool, you can't open the trunk any other way (key, button, wireless), but the safety hatch still worked.
I can't wait until the part comes in, and I can get my trunk back.
