I Know a Music Artist, No Really, a Good Music Artist!!

When I moved out to Seattle, I knew I'd be entering a place of coffee and music. Seattle is known for the number of independant bands. In fact, someone from my University moved out here and is now the drummer at a band that plays a few gigs at local bars, but I'm not writing about him. He's a music artist, he practices, he has gigs, but his *real* job is at Microsoft as a Program Manager like myself. I call that a hobby, just like I'm a photographer as a hobby, I don't make money off my pictures (at least not yet), I do it primarily for fun.

But... I do know an artist.

A friend of mine, Aileen Paron, has taken up music as a full time career, and she's quite good at it. I just purchased 4 of her CDs (hey, Christmas is coming right?). And of course, since she's a friend of mine, I have personalized editions. :o)

I like the music, because it's very chill, something that I can listen to to make the panics of shipping a product disappear into the backseat on the way home. I think my favourite song on the CD is "Skyscrapers", (even though I don't live in the city) as it has a certain ring to it that's relaxing.

If you're looking for a great CD to just listen to and ponder, or have a cup of coffee, this is a great CD. You can learn more about the CD at AileenParon.com
